Hi, My name is Umesh Dhand. I am an Academician, Consultant & Entrepreneur. After 15 years of experience in the corporate world across industries like FMCG, fashion, e-commerce & retailing, (luxury, lifestyle & value retailing) I chose to venture out on my own. I now engage with the corporate world from the outside, as a consultant, trainer & coach. I am deeply interested in the teaching – learning process which takes me to some business schools and corporates. Besides this I love exploring. This interest in exploration takes me to kitchens and places for adventure sports. I love adventure sports like trekking, rappelling, rock climbing, rafting. (Yes I have tried my hand at gliding & skiing too). I have been to some expeditions in the Himalayas, Leh-Ladakh, Sayadris & Nepal. This blog is a new personal exploration – the exploration of the undiluted wisdom of the Bhagvad Gita which I have been curious for years. There have been several times in life when I have been stuck or challenged by life situations and always felt the lessons of the Bhagvad Gita could be a great guide. After buying & downloading several copies and making many incomplete attempts of reading it, I finally read it early this year. This helped me in several ways which I hope to share later.
