Jack Yerby

Jack Yerby retired from Farmington High School where he taught French and English. Before that, when he taught Middle School, he noticed boys seem to quit reading in their early teens, which he attributed to the fact that most books for that age are aimed at girls. By writing young adult mysteries, he hopes to pass along his love of reading to future generations, especially the boys. He has two successful young adult mysteries already published, The Secret of the Haunted House, and The Mystery of the Lost Will. When not in the gym, Jack enjoys traveling to France, to maintain his fluency. He lives with his cats Midnight and Twilight who nap by his laptop as he writes.
