Rainy Day Quilts

I am finally free from the every day work world!! And I seem to be working harder than before and enjoying it more. I am following my passion! I have been a maker since age 4 when my mom -- with a cranky new baby -- gave my older brother and me her sewing scraps. I made my first quilt at age 12. I have not kept track of the quilts and textile art pieces I have made over the years, but it must be in the thousands. (I had a small business in the early 80's) My sewing maching has always been my best friend. The place I go to whether happy, sad, angry or celebrating! Making with textiles has been the constant throughout my life.
