I'm a recent convert. I used to hate being in the kitchen. My grandmother and my mother's attempts at making me into a presentable Indian girl failed many times. "How will you impress your in-laws," they used to say. And I used to retort back, "I'll just never marry then." Given I'm not married yet, nor will I be for a while (come on people, I'm only 21)...I have learned to love the art of cooking. I eagerly wait for my grandmother to come cook so I can watch her and write down everything she does. As I always say to myself, Practice Makes Perfect.
