I have lived and travelled all over the world, and have now formed the opinion that no city on Earth is as beautiful or interesting as my adopted city of Rio de Janeiro, which is the place I want to stay permanently and raise my family. In addition, I have a special interest and passion for food and cooking, and have created this blog to share my thoughts about Rio's unique and underappreciated food and drinking culture with both visitors and residents, and maybe some random thoughts on trends in Brazilian music and culture. Although I intend to focus on Rio de Janeiro and Brazil, I will likely also discuss places I encounter in my travels around the world.
