Artist and Sinologist exploring the dialogue between Eastern and Western approaches to art. My work moves between expressive painting, gestural abstraction, minimalism and contemporary ink art, informed by Asian art theories and European modernism. I am particularly interested in spontaneity, empty space and the relationship between art and philosophy.
