I'm a mechanical engineer in Cincinnati, Ohio. I design engines. I've worked on aircraft turbine engines, power generation turbine engines, and even small spacecraft/satellite engines... I have a background in design and structural mechanics, and spend quite a bit of time working with ANSYS. Although I'm interested in other design and analysis software as well. This space is meant to explore free and low cost options for mechanical engineers to perform design and analysis work.
