Dr. Ankur Bindal

Dr. Ankur Bindal serves as the President and Co-Founder of a Southern California-based real estate group founded in 2020. In this position, he helps oversee companies focused on residential and commercial real estate investing, holding, development, and management services. Before moving his full attention to this area, he founded an integrative psychiatry practice with locations in San Diego and Los Angeles. He led that practice as chief executive and president for nearly 10 years, building experience in both healthcare operations and entrepreneurship. Dr. Ankur spent much of his professional career in psychiatry as a board-certified psychiatrist and sleep specialist. During his practice years, he treated patients using established care methods, including medication management and counseling. He also incorporated newer treatment options, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation therapy and intranasal ketamine treatment. His goal was to provide patients with a wider range of care choices and support better outcomes for individuals who needed thoughtful, structured, and patient-centered treatment. Dr. Bindal became known for his work in brain stimulation, especially Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. His experience included treating former professional athletes, working professionals, physicians, underserved patients, and people from different parts of the world. This non-invasive outpatient treatment uses magnetic pulses to stimulate nerve cells in the brain and is often used for depression symptoms when antidepressant medications have not provided enough relief. His work in this area brought recognition within clinical and professional settings. Ankur Bindal received several honors related to his medical practice, leadership, and professional service. He was named a Diamond Circle Provider, a designation reserved for high-volume Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation practices. He also received leadership and corporation awards at a healthcare conference in 2023. In addition to being listed as a Top Doctor, the practice he founded was voted the best in San Diego by consumers in 2024 and 2025. His training included family medicine, adult psychiatry, and a sleep medicine fellowship through a neurology department. He holds board certification and professional fellowship distinctions in his field. Outside of work, he supports schools, military affiliates, health organizations, and community groups, while spending time with his wife, daughter, and dog.
