I grew up studying classical violin; and had the good fortune to be in the same neighborhood and attend the same grammar school as the Brubecks (Chris and Darius) who infused the school orchestra with their father and uncle's orchestral+jazz fusion. Forward 40 years, and my now ex-wife's now ex-husband Mikhail Rudy & Misha Alperin are improvising from the dual Bosendorfers. I'm passionate about this music.
