Charles Leisure, based in New York, NY, is a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience in guiding corporations through the equity capital raising process. Originally from Irvine, CA, he graduated with honors in history and political economics from Georgetown University in 2010. His experience living on both coasts has allowed him to build a thriving client base in New York and Los Angeles. Charles’s success is largely due to his ability to cultivate lasting relationships with investors and financial sector professionals. Known for his sharp ability to track economic indicators and identify emerging trends, he helps his clients navigate capital markets with a focus on managing investor benefits and risks. His approach involves creating strategic, long-term plans for capital raising, which can take months or even years to complete, ensuring that companies secure the necessary capital to fuel their growth. In addition to his financial expertise, Charles has successfully ventured into entrepreneurship. He co-founded Gravity Strategic Partners, a consultancy firm where he serves as Managing Partner. In this role, he oversees daily operations and provides critical business strategies, wealth-building advice, and guidance on public relations and capital market investments. Charles is also the President and CEO of Leisure Properties, his family’s real estate business, and a trusted advisor to numerous startups. Charles’s roots are in Irvine, CA, where he spent much of his youth along the shores of Newport Beach. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from University High School, where he was a standout athlete, excelling in football and earning the rank of Eagle Scout through the Boy Scouts of America. After high school, he attended Georgetown University, where he honed his understanding of global economic systems, which has proven invaluable in his financial career. Over the years, Charles has held leadership roles at major financial firms, including an Executive Director position in the equity capital division of one of the largest wealth management firms. Throughout his career, he has raised over $1 trillion in capital through more than 1,000 transactions, including over 500 IPOs for global companies. He has worked with major corporations such as Facebook, Alibaba, General Motors, and LinkedIn, with executive roles in both New York and Hong Kong. Charles also serves on the Advisory Board for Tagup, an AI startup, and as Senior Advisor to Surf Air, a company focused on electric aircraft solutions. Passionate about giving back, he supports charities like Walk for Water, which funds the creation of wells in developing countries. A wine enthusiast, Charles is also actively involved in the global wine community, helping connect producers, collectors, and restaurants.
