Cathy Stefanec Ogren

For over twenty-three years, I was an elementary school teacher. Before retiring to write full-time, I spent nine years as the librarian in a small private school where I was passionate about introducing new and diverse books to my students. I now live in New Hampshire with my husband, and we are close enough to our grandchildren to enjoy special times together. I have had two early chapter books published and have also been published in educational and children’s magazines. I’m a PAL member of SCBWI and the 12 x 12 Picture Book Writing Challenge. I believe in reading and writing books that spark curiosity and imagination. My nonfiction picture book, PEW!
